Local Attractions
Ocean Shores located on Washington’s Central Coast, is full of activities to entertain you and your family. Visit the shops, rent mopeds to ride around town or on the beach, fly kites, play miniature golf or enjoy the indoor water park. The Polynesian Resort is also close to golf, nature hikes, historical and cultural centers and much more. There are miles of beaches for romantic walks or building sand castles. Clamming is a favorite activity among many who visit Ocean Shores and stay at The Polynesian Resort.
You can go Whale Watching March through May. The Westport Ferry, North Jetty or whale watching cruises are great spots to catch a glimpse of the Gray Whales as they are migrating along the Pacific coastline.
Go beachcombing for Russian bottles containing messages, Japanese glass floats from Fall through Spring, or search for shells, sand dollars and agates year round on our pristine beach.
